Dr. Perrine Poiron

Episode 34: Dr. Perrine Poiron

Perrine Poiron earned her Ph.D in Egyptology and History. She specializes in pharaonic ideology during the Third Intermediate Period, in cultural memory and cultural identity and its impact inside the official protocole. She works for the Karnak Hypostyle Hall Project, a joint project between the University of Memphis & Université du Québec à Montréal - UQAM, and she is a postdoctoral researcher for UQAM’s Oudjat Project. She has worked with Ubisoft on Assassin's Creed Origins and on its Discovery Tour. She also collaborated with Ubisoft and Google for the Hieroglyphics initiative launched by Google in 2020 as Fabricius.
